Debbie Moon founded Moon Consulting and Genetic Lifehacks. She brings an engineer's approach to problem-solving together with a background in biological science: identify the variables, understand the mechanisms, test the solutions, and optimize for results.
Her interest in genetics started with a simple question: why didn't standard nutrition advice work for her? Analyzing her own 23andMe data more than a decade ago answered it, and Genetic Lifehacks grew from her wish to help others do the same. It is now one of the largest genetic information sites in reach and scope, with hundreds of thousands of visitors each year.
Over her career Debbie has worked as an engineer, web developer, high school STEM teacher and writer. She is also the author of Histamine Lifehacks and other popular science books.
